Child and Family Health Services (CaFHS) is a free service that supports families with children from birth to 5 years. CaFHS offer health and development checks, parenting groups, helpline, online resources and more.

Allied Health in Children's Centres

We have a Speech Pathologist and Occupational Therapist as part of our Children's Centre Team. They work with educators and parents in playgroup, child care and preschool to support children and help educators identify potential developmental delays.

Some of the services they are involved with and ways they support our Centre include:

- professional development sessions for educators

- targeted playgroups

- parenting sessions & forums

- strategies for feeding, toileting & play

- strategies for speech & language

- referals to other services
